Auto visual draws

An auto visual draw picks the winner exactly like every other draw, then shows you the result as a short game. The game does not decide anything. It reads the winning ticket number out, one digit at a time, in a way that is more fun to watch than a line of text.

If you have spun the wheel on an instant win, you have already seen a reveal like this. The difference is when the outcome is fixed: an instant win is settled when you buy; a draw is settled at the draw, after entries close. Read more on how our draws work.

The games

  • Spinning Wheel draw game

    Spinning Wheel

The wheel stops on each number of the winning ticket. One spin per digit. Where it lands is where the sealed seed said it would.

  • Lottery Balls draw game

    Lottery Balls

One ball drops from each machine, left to right. Each machine holds the digits 0 to 9. The ball that drops is the digit the draw picked.

  • The Vault draw game

    The Vault

The dial turns to each number of the winning ticket. The combination is the winning number. The door opens when the last digit locks.

  • Plinko draw game

    Plinko

A disc falls through the pegs into a numbered slot. One drop per digit. The slot it lands in was set by the draw before the disc was released.

  • Balloons draw game

    Balloons

One balloon bursts for each number. A row of numbered balloons. The one that pops is the digit the draw picked.

Watch it again and it plays the same

Because the game is driven by the result, a replay is not a second draw. Open a finished competition’s draw page tomorrow, or next year, and the wheel stops on the same digits, the same balls drop, the same balloon pops. There is only one result to show.

That is also why you never need to be watching at the draw time to be treated fairly. The draw runs to the minute whether the room is full or empty, and the winner is told directly.

Where to watch

Every auto visual draw plays on its competition’s draw page from the moment the result is in. When several draws run in one evening, the draws page lists them in order, with a room that plays each reveal as it happens and counts down to the next.

Want to check the result rather than watch it? The competition’s verification page re-runs the draw in your browser. The method is on draw fairness.
