About our cash and voucher competitions
Cash competitions are the simplest prize there is: no item to choose and nothing to sell on. Our cash and voucher competitions range from small regular draws to bigger prize pots, and every one shows the ticket price, the total number of tickets and how many have sold before you enter.
How cash prizes are paid
When you win a cash prize, we pay it by bank transfer to a UK account in your name, usually within 5 working days of you claiming it. Some banks take a day or two longer to show the payment.
Is the cash taxed?
Prize winnings aren't usually taxed as income in the UK, so a cash prize is yours to keep. What you do with it afterwards can have tax consequences, such as interest on savings. Are competition winnings taxed? covers it in full.
Free entry, and a draw that always happens
Every paid competition has a free postal entry route with the same chance of winning, and every draw goes ahead whether or not every ticket sells.
