Free Entry
No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Every NetCompetitions competition has a free postal route, and free entries go into the same draw as paid entries with an equal chance of winning.
How to enter for free
You’ll need a free NetCompetitions account (creating one costs nothing) so we can match your postal entry to you by email. Then send a postcard, or a sheet of paper in a sealed envelope, by ordinary first- or second-class post to:
17 St. Peters Place, Fleetwood, Lancashire, FY7 6EB
United Kingdom
Your entry must clearly include all of the following:
- your full name;
- your full postal address;
- the email address registered to your NetCompetitions account;
- your date of birth;
- the full title of the competition, exactly as shown on the site;
- that competition’s closing date.
Good to know
Equal value to a paid entry. Each postal communication counts as as many whole entries as you could buy, at that competition’s ticket price, for the price of a second-class stamp, so the free route gives you the same value for the same outlay as paying. Where a competition’s ticket price is more than a second-class stamp, one postal communication is one entry. To make more entries, send more separate communications, each with its own postage.
Same limits as the paid route. The per-person maximum shown on each competition page applies to your paid and free entries combined; the free route is never more restricted than paying.
Deadline. Postal entries must be received by the closing date, the same deadline as online entries. Proof of posting is not proof of receipt, so please allow plenty of time. We can’t be responsible for entries lost or delayed in the post.
This is a summary. The full rules for the free postal route are in clause 6 of our Terms & Conditions, which govern.
